We are delighted to share our new website with you!
|
|
|
The website is the culmination of an effort to refresh our message and visuals and validate alignment with our mission to ensure it is relevant and differentiated for our next decade and beyond. This work included examining our messaging with stakeholders and developing a visual identity with refreshed content that will resonate with both supporters of women’s colleges and scholarship applicants. The result will help us meet our goals to increase the number of scholarships, expand TSI’s donor base, and raise awareness of the benefits of women’s college education.

We invite you to explore the site, and call your attention to some of its key features.

The new site leverages the sunflower metaphor, and brings it to life through bright colors, images and new messaging. As a guidepost for the design, we defined brand attributes that best represent our organization and our scholars: Bright, Scholarly, Thoughtful, Exuberant, Fresh, Modern, Exceptional.
|

- Home page – this is your main navigation page to explore various pages of the site. The introductory videos provide a dynamic introduction to TSI. The headline “Some flowers grow best in full sun” distinguishes the women’s college experience from other co-ed institutions in that it “can provide that full sun, a unique environment with women at the center, that enables a student to thrive and strive to achieve her full potential.” The tagline: “We help fund the women’s college experience” clearly states our mission. From the home page visitors can access various pages multiple ways, from the navigation bar at the top, or by scrolling down the page.

- Get to know us – describes our mission in more detail, and highlights our leadership.
|
|
- Meet (Learn about our scholars) – promotes our scholars and demonstrates how through our support, attending a women’s college provides an experience for a young woman to “Find my voice, speak my mind, tell the world.” This messaging emphasizes the supportive environment that builds a young woman’s confidence and maturity from entering college through to her post-college career.

- Give (Support our scholars) – is dedicated to donors, and requests their help in preserving a young woman’s choice to attend a woman’s college by contributing to TSI financially or by getting involved as a volunteer and mentor.
|
|
- Explore (Choose a women’s college) - is a resource for high achieving, qualified candidates looking to learn more about the women’s college experience and includes research from outside organizations such as the Women’s College Coalition.
|
|
- Apply – this section has been streamlined to encourage applicants, and provides all the materials and instructions required in an easy-to-navigate layout and approach.
|
|
- Features – includes all news and announcements and special scholar stories. Spotlights and highlights are also found here, showcasing a different women’s colleges and accomplished alumnae. Articles in this section also appear on other pages according to topic (i.e., scholar stories appear in Features and are cross-referenced on the Scholars page). This month, be sure to check out the announcement about our two 2021 Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship winners.
