The Sunflower Initiative does not retain any personally identifiable information collected from Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship applicants. All applications are destroyed at the end of the annual cycle. Aggregate information about women’s colleges applied to, state of residence of applicants, and names of high schools from which applicants applied is assembled annually.
The Sunflower Initiative will obtain permission from the winner to use information about her in announcements and promotions for the Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship.
